Location: Brooklyn Park, MN | Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Type: Direct Hire


About the Role

We are seeking a high-energy Business Development Representative to drive new business growth and expand sales channels in the industrial and commercial sector. This role is ideal for a self-motivated, results-driven professional with strong prospecting experience and a passion for building long-term customer relationships.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and onboard new customers through outbound calls, emails, and networking
  • Develop and grow reseller sales channels and direct sales to major industrial accounts
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with distributors and end-users
  • Create and execute a territory growth plan with 20%+ annual targets
  • Conduct professional onsite and virtual sales presentations
  • Utilize CRM software to manage pipeline, contacts, and follow-ups
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer success and retention
  • Apply value-based selling strategies to preserve profit margins

What We're Looking For

  • Industry experience not required - transferable skills welcome
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not mandatory
  • Prospecting experience is essential (customer onboarding, lead generation, or business development)
  • 3+ years in sales, customer service, or account management with proven success
  • Strong time management, multitasking, and communication skills
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • A go-getter mindset with high activity levels and self-driven motivation

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 + Commission
  • OTE: $80K-$100K in Year 1
